Apply for the Federal Government’s Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP). All undergraduate and graduate students with a disability can apply for this program. The federal government and private companies offer internships, summer jobs and full-time jobs through this program. Phone interviews will be conducted by a WRP recruiter between October 26 and November 18, 2020.
Applicants for the program must:
- Have a disability
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be eligible for hiring under the Schedule A Hiring Authority
- Be a current, full-time, degree-seeking, post-secondary student OR have graduated from such an university within the past two years (April 1, 2018 or later)
- NOTE: Students may also participate if they meet all of the other requirements for the program but are taking a reduced course load due to a disability or if they are taking less than a substantially full-time load in the enrollment period immediately prior to graduation.
Interested students are encouraged to make an appointment with Mr. Jan Van Dyke, Senior Assistant Director, Indiana University, Career Development Center to help prepare for the informational interview, resume and application process.
