HAVE A FUN AND PRODUCTIVE SUMMER!

May 9, 2023

The UCS Office wants to congratulate our Seniors for graduating! We are so proud of your hard work and all your accomplishments. Go be great! We also applaud the rest of our Kelley student body for your continued growth and development as young professionals.

While Summer provides an opportunity to relax and recharge, it is also a time to engage in meaningful experiences that will boost your resume and entice recruiters in the future. Whether it be a Summer job, internship, job shadow, informational interview, volunteering, or some other opportunity, be intentional about having an experience that allows you to demonstrate transferable and relevant skills to future employers.

Want to meet with a UCS Career Coach to discuss how to take advantage of the Summer and make the most of your experiences? Our office is open all Summer! You can make an appointment via Handshake to meet virtually or in-person with a coach. Additionally, case interview preparation appointments can be scheduled by sending an email to KelleyUCS@iu.edu. Our peer coach drop-in hours will cease for the Summer and continue in the Fall.

SENIORS & JUNIORS: HELP US PROMOTE YOU TO HIRING COMPANIES THROUGH OUR RESUME BOOKS!

A resume book is a digital compilation of students’ resumes, by major and graduation year, that the UCS makes available for hiring employers at their request. Companies request resumes of students who are in the job market, so if this is you, submit your resume(s) as soon as possible to the various UCS resume books. This will maximize your visibility to hiring companies. Complete these steps to have your resume included.
