Marketing

Marketing encompasses business activities directly related to placing meaningful products and services in the hands of the consumer. Students graduating with this major might start with an entry– level position in professional sales, digital marketing, market research or analytics. Many companies recognize that starting out by learning the products and customers helps to develop the employee and may gradually lead to more advanced roles within the company. Typically, a marketing career progresses into roles such as promotional planning, marketing communications/advertising, and other strategical, more senior marketing positions.
