Apply for the Federal Government’s Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP). Phone interviews will take place this fall semester. All undergraduate and graduate students with a disability can apply for this program. All IU Alumni with a disability who graduated on or after April 1, 2019 are eligible to apply for the WRP program. The federal government offers internships, summer jobs and full-time jobs through this program.
Student registrations must be complete on or before Monday, October 11th.
Students are encouraged to make an appointment with Mr. Jan Van Dyke, Senior Assistant Director, Indiana University, Career Development Center to help prepare for the informational interview, resume and application process. Applicants for the program must:
- Have a disability
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be eligible for hiring under the Schedule A Hiring Authority
- Be a current, full-time, degree-seeking, post-secondary student OR have graduated from such an university within the past two years (April 1, 2019 or later)
Both undergraduate and graduate students can apply to the WRP program
Students may also participate if they meet all of the other requirements for the program but are taking a reduced course load due to a disability or if they are taking less than a substantially full-time load in the enrollment period immediately prior to graduation.
In order to participate in the WRP program, students must complete an online application and upload a resume and transcript prior to the time of their interview with the WRP recruiter.
WRP INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEW DATES:
All phone interviews will be conducted by the WRP recruiter between October 25, 2021 and November 17, 2021.
