Analyze the “corporate big picture” to forecast customer demands and to estimate supply capabilities. Determine how much and what type of product(s) the sales force may “promise” orsell to customers month by month. In so doing, manage both the risk of running out of stock and the risk ofhaving leftover inventory.
Logistics Management
Responsible for working with supply chain partners to develop strategies that allow the company to meet aggressive customer service targets while focusing on transportation and movement of materials, and inventory performance targets. Reviews and analyzes planning data to prepare reports for management review and identifies and recommends enhancements to supply chain systems to reduce inventory.
