The Senior Financial Analyst will join Gallagher’s Corporate Finance team. This role requires strong financial analysis and modeling skills as well as an ability to work cross-functionally within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Assist team in preparation for earnings calls and investor days through development of supplemental detail schedules and supporting analyses
- Utilize financial systems to retrieve and analyze data in order to understand and forecast revenue and expenses
- Collaborate with divisions to review performance against established metrics
- Assist in and prepare analysis for Finance Executives and the Board of Directors
- Track and review merger and acquisition results alongside expectations
- Develop and test new reports that further the company’s understanding of key operational metrics
- Support and analyze the annual budget against expected targets and other metrics
- Ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis
Required:
- 4 or more years of related work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related area of study (i.e. quantitative coursework in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience
